CEILÂNDIA, Brasília – As a result of the partnership between USAID/Brazil, UNESCO and Intel, the opening of the first training session of the Intel Learn Program occurred on February 22nd in the city of Ceilândia, located in the Federal District.
The program began in the auditorium of Fundação Bradesco, with an institutional video by Fundação Bradesco. The Coordinator of the Technical Cooperation Agreement and the Secretary of Education, Ms. Dulce Tannuri, were present at the event and make remarks emphasizing the huge responsibility that these teachers had, not only in learning the methodology but also in transferring their knowledge to other teachers and, especially, to the students.
Rubem Paulo, from Intel, spoke to all present about the methodology and the main idea behind the Intel Learn Program and explained the role of Fundação Bradesco in the partnership. Intel also showed a brief institutional video of the Intel Learn Program.
A representative from the Secretary of Education will be present during the entire training session and an employee from UNESCO will stop by to follow some classes and see how the courses are being developed.
The next training session, given to representatives of the Espaço Criança Esperança, will be from 15 to 20 March, in Bradesco Foundation, in Campinas.
