Fundo UNA+
ABOUT
The Fundo UNA+ was born from the union and common goal of companies to remedy the impacts caused by COVID-19 in Brazilian communities. In this context, Grupo +Unidos played the role of articulator between the public and private sectors and organizations with proven experience in these territories.
Our goal was to link private social investments to multiply their impact, so that the whole was greater than the sum of the parts in fighting the pandemic.

WORKING MODEL
In order to act strategically to fight the pandemic in peripheral communities, the Fundo UNA+ worked on six different pillars, which are:
SELECTION
Choice of territories of operation in a collaborative way with partners and organizations with proven performance in communities, based on criteria defined jointly.
DIAGNOSIS
Socio-economic survey to understand the impacts of the spread of the virus in peripheral communities and inform actions in the post-pandemic context.
TESTING
Analysis of COVID-19 penetration in communities and support to reverse underreporting in these territories.
DONATION
Emergency support with the delivery of food and personal protection products to communities and support to the public and/or philanthropic health system.
EMERGENCY FEEDING AND CARE
Purchase of food baskets and digital food baskets (voucher to be used in markets in the supported territory) or emergency care items.
