
We are very pleased to announce that Trench Rossi Watanabe, one of our member companies, has won the Seal of Human Rights and Diversity, from the Municipality of São Paulo, for the second consecutive year. Last year, it was one of the companies with the best practices in the “Woman”, “LGBTI” and “Racial Equality” categories. This year, it was recognized in Transversalities (a new category included this year), which summarizes the joint work between all the pillars of Diversity and Inclusion.
Some of the outstanding projects were: Campaign Combate at All Front, which reinforces the commitment to the local community, partners, supporters and collaborators during the pandemic period; participation in the Incluir Digital Campaign, with donations for the acquisition of technological equipment, in order to allow the access of the socially vulnerable population to online classes; participation in the Name Rectification Mutirão, organized by Casa 1 and the São Paulo City Hall, in which it acted in the initial procedures for changing the social name of trans people; among others.
This achievement consolidates the intersectionality that the company within the themes worked on, such as the MOVE program, identity of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee recently launched whose purpose is to aggregate and promote the initiatives worked internally and externally, further increasing the engagement and results of practices that make the Firm a standout in the market.
We know that this award is just a step towards a more egalitarian society, but we must be proud to be one step ahead on such an important and relevant agenda for everyone!
