PAYPAL LAUNCHES PROJECT TO ASSIST SMALL COMPANIES IMPACTED BY COVID-19 IN BRAZIL

PayPal, the world leader in electronic payment services, is launching a project in Brazil to help MEIs, MSEs and SMEs whose daily sales were strongly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. The action is called PayPal Spotlight and is also being implemented in Mexico, Japan, Singapore and India.

“We, at PayPal, are closely monitoring the daily lives of our partners who have been suffering the most from the coronavirus crisis. They are responsible for fundamental employment rates in all countries and are the least likely to obtain credit lines, for example ”, comments Thiago Chueiri, Business Development director at PayPal Brazil. For the executive, this is the time to assist these men and women entrepreneurs, so that they can maintain financial health and resist social isolation and quarantine.
