The United Nations General Assembly has proclaimed January 24 as International Education Day. The date is a milestone and highlights the relevance of education for economic and social development, as well as for reducing inequalities.
To commemorate the date, and to reinforce the existing education programs, KPMG’s Corporate Citizenship in Brazil area presents the Community program #ForBetter.
The project is aimed at students aged 18 to 24 who are enrolled and have already completed high school in public schools across the country. Two hundred (200) free licenses per month will be awarded for courses that address behavioral and technical skills, in classes delivered through the Niduu platform.
For the senior manager of Corporate Citizenship at KPMG, Eliane Momesso, the objective is to empower young people from our most vulnerable communities, disseminating knowledge that can contribute to the development of each person’s potential.
