An equation through which everybody wins: this could well define the partnership renewed every Easter by Kraft Foods and the Association Supporting Children with Special Needs (AACD). And 2010 is a special time in this history: it was exactly five years ago that Kraft created its Lacta Easter AACD line specifically to benefit this entity, transferring part of the income brought in through sales of these products, which include a Nº 15 Easter egg and two chocolate bunnies.
Since 2006, annual transfers of R$ 200,000 have built up to a total amount of R$ 1 million today. And Kraft Foods has already helped this entity build a hydrotherapy pool, extending five care sectors at its São Paulo unit, refitting its diagnostic centre, investing in the purchase and modernization of its sophisticated diagnostic equipment, and helping with the rehabilitation of thousands of people.
2006 – construction of a new hydrotherapy pool
2007 – refit and expansion of the Rehabilitation Centre
2008 – acquisition of new equipment for the Diagnostic Centre at the Hospital Abreu Sodré
2009 – acquisition of new equipment for the Rehabilitation Centre
2010 – acquisition of the equipment for the Surgery Centre
