In addition to encouraging regular volunteering activities, Kraft also organizes a major volunteering week worldwide.  All Kraft units everywhere in the world devote efforts to helping people in need at the same time and always tailored to the realities of each location.  Within this framework, Brazil is a global example of engagement and dedication.  In 2009, more than 2,100 people gather during a week of much solidarity.  The outcome: 27 institutions and more than 49,000 people benefited through 6,770 hours of volunteer work in just six days.
